As some of you might know, I recently participated in The Quarantined Bachelor on TikTok. For those who don’t know, bachelor Chris (a.k.a Supdaily) initially started a quarantined datingshow on the popular content creating app (TikTok) for fun and entertainment during this crazy time we’re in. Because of the quarantine and the social distance orders around the world it isn’t possible for Chris to meet his QuaranQueen in person. So the top 3 will be only online dating with Chris while he streams these dates live on his Instagram account. The winner of The Quarantined Bachelor will get the title QuaranQueen and will get a goodie bag with all sorts of quarantine supplies.
At the start of the ‘contest’ there were about 200+ submission videos and Chris had to pick 25 QuaranQueens out of those 200+ entries. I was one of the lucky 25 QuaranQueens he picked. Yay! Check out my first entry video here!
After that the 25 QuaranQueens were asked by him to make a video that would show our talent. And my oh my, all 25 Queens were so talented and soooo creative. Chris had to make a pretty difficult decision and choose 10 Queens that made it into the next round. And guess what? I was one of the lucky ones…again! You can find my talent video right here!
I was really excited that I made it into the top 10. For the next assignment to get into the top 5 all the 10 girls needed to answer 6 questions. Five questions came from Chris himself and the sixth was an audience question. He also added an audience request. These were the questions:
- What’s your favorite food when you go out?
- What’s your favorite thing about yourself?
- What’s your favorite movie and why?
- What’s your favorite sound?
- Tell me your best dad joke.
- Toilet paper, over or under? (audience)
- Wash your hands (audience request)
I have to admit it was pretty hard to answer all six questions and fulfill the request in just one minute (TikTok doesn’t allow videos longer than 60 seconds). Because, besides answering the questions it also had to be creative and fun, and since all the girls were amazingly creative it was one of the most difficult assignments for me to accomplish (you can find the results of my video here). But I had so much fun making each video for the Quarantined Bachelor. Unfortunately I didn’t make it into the top 5, but honestly the five queens who did make it into the top 5 definitely deserved it.
Somewhere during the dating show the top 25 queens became very close. True friendships developed. Even Chris said that he expect the 25 queens become such close friends that we all would forget about him. We started a groups chat on Instagram and the idea to organize a Zoom meeting with him soon arose. Since I knew about the 24-hour live-stream he had planned, I suggested the girls to ask him if we could do the Zoom meeting during his live-stream on Twitch. We asked and he gave his consent pretty quick, but we should arrange the entire organization. Consider it done, Chris.
We had less than 2 days to organize everything and since we are all from different parts of the world it was quite difficult due to the time difference. But we did it. We even rehearsed to find out exactly what we were going to do and it soon became clear that we were a bunch of well-organized ladies who had set up a whole program in less than 2 hours.
The next day we were all a little nervous about the big moment, but Oh Em Gee, we had a blast that day. Chris talked to us for more than 2 hours straight. And our organized program was perfect from start to finish. First Chris had to share his first impression of all of us individually. After that we played the game ‘Guess Who’. We gave Chris a list with some juicy facts about each one of us, but without our names. He had to guess which fact belonged to which girl. The audience asked us a couple of questions and so did Chris which we answered (that was the most intense moment of the zoom call). After that part we’ve asked Chris to answer the six questions he had asked the top 10 QuaranQueens. We ended our Zoom meeting with a powerful statement and our congratulations for his 2 years anniversary partnership on Twitch.
You can watch all of it for yourself down below, as I made a clip of our entire zoom meeting during its 24-hour live stream:
(Please don’t mind my bad English during the show. I wasn’t prepared enough and when I’m nervous or emotional – that was the case – I can’t find the right words to use quickly enough. Bite me!)
It’s been a while since then and in the meantime the top 3 Queens have been announced. The audience has chosen 1 Queen and Chris the other two. Maven, Shea and Miller are the 3 lucky ones. The three dates will take place this weekend (Friday the 1st of May, Saturday 2nd of May and Sunday the 3rd of May). Chris will live-stream these dates on his Instagram account and these streams will be shown in his highlights for the rest of the week so people can watch them and vote for their favorite queen. The following weekend – the ultimate winner – the number one QuaranQueen – will be announced by Chris himself. SO EXCITING!!!
The girls and I still have a lot of fun together. We made a collab vid together where my friends literally saved my sexy little *ss, we brought some (funny) drama in the dating show just like the drama in the real Bachelor show on TV and we’re planning to go through with that till the end. Also, we are organizing a reunion when quarantine is finally over where we will meet each other in person for the very first time. That is gonna be soooo much fun. I’m looking forward to that already!
I am so thankful and blessed that I met all these wonderful, beautiful and awesome people during this terrible time of quarantine. I sincerely have 24 new girlfriends from all over the world and a very good friend. Through this way I want to thank Chris and all QuaranQueens for the friendship and everything they have done for me and still do for me. Y’all don’t know how important you are to me and y’all don’t realize how much y’all mean to me. Thank you all so much.
Much love and kisses,
